This is one of those rare times that I felt I had to write a letter. We service our cars at Tuffy's on S. Tamiiami Trail in Fort Myers. We never use to feel comfortable bringing our car in for service because we always felt that things were added on so that the repair shop could make more money. But that is not the case with Tuffy. Tuffy is honest and fair and it is wonderful to feel that comfortable with an auto repair place. We have always had the best car service and Steve at Tuffy has been great to work with. We will never bring our cars to any other place.

I had brought my van into a local auto repair company in Estero for an estimate on my rear brakes. After hearing how much they wanted to charge, I thought maybe to get a second opinion. My neighbor had recommend Steve Joslin at Tuffy. After checking my braking system, Steve had communicated that there really wasn’t anything wrong with my brakes and immediately showed and explained why. I have been a customer of Tuffy for 9 years, and have had 5 of my vehicles serviced at the same location. I have an Audi, and I normally go to the Audi dealership for routine service. Their service manager told me that my brake pads had less than 10% pad life remaining. He basically told me that I should not leave the shop because the brakes looked bad. I asked to go into the service bay, and he refused. As a result, I refused to have Audi service my brakes because I felt that I was being lied to. I stopped at Tuffy for a second opinion. The shop manager, Steve, accompanied me into the service bay and showed me that my brakes had 50% pad life remaining. I did need a brake fluid flush, and Tuffy provided that service at a reasonable price. I have to thank Tuffy for always being fair and honest. I will continue to service my vehicles at your location.
