

Brandon and Tom of Yorkville went out of the way to help rectify the situation with my Mom’s car- ’97 Toyota Camry. Two days after Christmas, my Mom was traveling from WI to visit us in Plano, drove off the road at some point during her journey, and called me because she thought she lost a muffler. Since we were so close to Tuffy, I suggested she take the car there.
Tom examined it the next day and discovered not only was there exhaust repairs needed, he also found out that the front engine mount was disconnected and the engine pushed over. My Mom later revealed that she had driven off the road, went through a field and drove to Yorkville. She is close to 80, suffers from night blindness and gets disoriented very easily; we (her children) decided it was best that she not drive.
Both Brandon and Tom understood and allowed us to keep her car there free of charge, approximately 3 weeks, until we decided what to do. She later authorized the repairs to be done, mind you only $113 worth. Once she can get the appropriate paperwork together she probably will be selling the car.
With this kind of commitment, integrity, and customer service, we will continue to bring our cars to Tuffy of Yorkville for service.

I have been bringing my car to the Yorkville, IL Tuffy for a couple years. I have always received great service. Whenever the mechanics check my car, they never make me feel pressured to fix something right away and communicate the honest necessity of repairs. Today we took my Liberty in for shocks/struts, tune-up, and radiator hoses. They completed the work in a timely manner and also gave me a teacher discount. In these bad economic times, I was very thankful for the discount. I really appreciate Brandon and Tom's hard work and quality customer service. Thank you!

Tom and Brandon had quoted me work to be completed at a cost of $350 and after inspecting the car, they had communicated that the repair wasn’t necessary. It is such a blessing that we still have honest people in this world. Both gentlemen were great to deal with and I’ll definitely be returning for other work with my cars in the future. I wish all retail and service shops were like Tom and Brandon! Thanks guys!
