Toledo based Tuffy Associates Corp. wears red to help raise critical research dollars
Toledo, OH

Friday, February 5th, 2010, is a big day across the country. It is National Wear Red Day, a time to join with family, friends, and co-workers to show support and commitment for the fight against heart disease in women. To help increase awareness about heart health, Toledo based Tuffy Associates Corp. is partnering with the American Heart Association to help raise critical research dollars for this year’s Go Red for Women celebration.

“Heart disease affects more than the person facing the disease. It touches family members and friends too,” mentions Barry Unrast, Advertising Executive for Tuffy Associates Corp. “Our company is very close-knit. Supporting and giving to local charities and organizations is one of the ways that we show support for one another and our local community at the same time.”

“Participation in this event is a very tangible way of raising money for lifesaving education and research,” replies Jackie Terrill from the American Heart Association. “We’re very privileged that businesses like Tuffy have dedicated their time, support, and resources to help raise awareness of heart disease in our local community.”
