Is Tuffy offering single and multi-unit opportunities?
Yes, we are currently seeking qualified candidates to open both single and multi-unit franchise territories.
What are the initial franchise and royalty fees?
Initial franchise fee – $30,000.00
Royalty fee – five percent (5%), except tires & batteries which are 1%
Marketing fee – five percent (5%), except tires & batteries which are 1%.
- 4.5% is spent in your local market, 0.5% production, materials and programs
What type of training and support will I receive as a new Tuffy franchisee?
As a Tuffy franchisee, you will receive the following training and support:
- Training can consist of both classroom and actual “hands-on” instruction, depending upon your background. Shop administration, employee recruitment, vehicle inspection and diagnosis procedures, sales techniques, inventory control, financial management, and most importantly the fine points of maintaining good customer service.
- Marketing support
- Regular visits from Tuffy district managers
Does Tuffy offer financing?
No, we don't provide financing but we do have relationships with third parties who can assist you in obtaining financing.
How soon can I expect my Tuffy franchise to open?
Your first Tuffy will generally open within 12 months of signing your franchise agreement. That said, if you have real estate already identified, that timeline is greatly reduced.
Where are Tuffy® Tire & Auto Service Centers generally located?
Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Centers are located in both urban and suburban areas across the country extending from Virginia in the east to Arizona in the west, North Dakota in the North to Florida in the South
Will I have a protected territory?
Yes, a protected territory is given to every Tuffy franchise location.
Will I receive guidance on purchasing equipment and supplies?
Yes. Tuffy has a preferred vendor program that covers all aspects of opening your franchise.
Will I receive marketing assistance in planning for my Tuffy opening?
Yes. Tuffy gives you a powerful jump start by assisting you in your initial advertising and marketing campaigns. Tuffy's marketing department will run a complete media analysis of your market and develops television and radio commercials, newspaper, point-of-sale materials, and special promotions specifically for your shop.
